Monkey Tales - Introducing Caroline and Fredbert

Greetings!

Well first of all we would like to say a big hello and welcome from Monkey Fuzz HQ. Whether you have found us by general browsing or via a link from one of our other sites we are happy to have you.

So who are Caroline and Fredbert and what is Monkey Fuzz?

Simply put, Monkey Fuzz is a collection of lovingly hand-made sock monkeys. The first ever Monkey Fuzz sock monkey is Gilbert, who was created by Caroline for the lovely Michelle for her birthday. Gilbert is a stripey dude with a pink face and quickly settled into Michelle's way of life. From an early age, he went to explore the Northumbrian coast spending his first nights in a wigwam,  visiting the likes of Banburgh Castle and Holy Island. He has since been on a road trip around Europe in an orange campervan, along with various locations within the UK.

Michelle's friends thought Gilbert was that cool that they wanted their very own sock monkeys. So along came Frank - a bit of a mismatch of sock body parts but still very loveable ('Frankenmonkey'), and Eric the Bananamonkey. Bless Alicia and Mark who unknowingly both requested to adopt these monkeys for each other at the same time - awwww!

It wasn't long before Fredbert came along. Fredbert happily travels with Caroline, the creator of Monkey Fuzz, in 'The Slug', her blue-flowered red box car (it looks a bit like Postman Pat's van with flowers on, apparantly). Fredbert is typically mischievious. but very laid back and likes to snooze on the dashboard. His friend Cyril currently lives in a caravan on the Norfolk coast taking in the fresh sea air with Caroline's mum and dad. Reports say that all monkeys are very happy.

Since Gilbert, Frank, Eric, and Cyril departed Monkey Fuzz Headquarters, many more monkeys gave gone to new homes. If you are a Monkey Fuzz momma then please do keep us updated with how your monkey dude is doing. We love to hear their stories!

Ta ta for now,

Caroline & Fredbert
